G.S.R (E) Notification:
The Central Government, exercising powers under CGST Act 2017, and IGST Act 2017, issues an amendment to the existing notification.
Original Notification:
Refers to the notification No. 14/2017-Central Tax, dated 1st July 2017, with amendments.
Amendment Details:
In the existing Table of officers and their powers, a new entry is added after Sl. No. 8.
New Entry (Sl. No. 8A):
Officers: Additional Assistant Director, Goods and Services Tax Intelligence or Additional Assistant Director, Goods and Services Tax, or Additional Assistant Director, Audit.
Powers: Exercise powers of Superintendent.
Objective:
The amendment extends specific powers to Additional Assistant Directors in the mentioned areas, empowering them to exercise the powers of a Superintendent.
Effective Date:
The amendment is effective from the date of publication.
