Central Government amends tax rates under Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
Based on recommendations of the Council, adjustments made to Notification No.2/2017- Union Territory Tax.
Amendment substitutes "one per cent." with "half per cent." in clause (i) of the notification.
In clause (iii), "half per cent. of the turnover" replaced with "half per cent. of the turnover of taxable supplies of goods."
