Amendments to Integrated Tax Rates

Central Government amends Integrated Tax Rates under IGST Act, 2017. Notification issued on recommendations of the Council.

Schedule I (5%): New entries for mineral or chemical fertilizers added. Schedule II (12%): Omitted serial numbers 66, 67, 68, and 69.

Effective date: 1st July 2017. Aimed at streamlining tax structure for fertilizers.

Enhances clarity and efficiency in tax administration.
