Amendment to Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017

New Rules: Central Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2018, enacted under section 164.

Rule Modifications: Changes made in rules 125, 129, 130, 131, 132, and 133. Substitutions: "Directorate General of Safeguards" replaced with "Director General of Anti-profiteering".

Effective Date: Rules deemed to be in force from June 12, 2018. Name Changes: Directorate General of Safeguards renamed as Directorate General of Anti-profiteering.
