New Amendments in IGST Act: Services for Transit Cargo

Central Government amends Integrated Tax (Rate) notification based on Council recommendations. Addition of new provision after serial number 10A for services linked to transit cargo to Nepal and Bhutan.

Aimed at facilitating smoother movement of goods to landlocked countries. No integrated tax levied on such services.

Implemented in the public interest and to streamline cross-border trade. Notification applies to all concerned entities.
