Amendment to Distribution Regulations for Dairy Products
Central Government amends GST notification regarding dairy product distribution.
Change allows distribution through companies registered under the Companies Act, 2013.
Previously restricted to distribution via dairy cooperatives only.
Aimed at enhancing distribution channels and market access for dairy products.
Amendment recommended by the Goods and Services Tax Council.
Effective from November 15, 2017.
