Generating Static Passwords on the New IT Portal

Extra Security: Static Passwords offer an additional security layer for your e-Filing login, especially useful if you face OTP issues due to poor mobile network. Registered Users Only: You must be a registered user with a valid user ID and password on the e-Filing portal to use this service.

Static Password Features: You receive 10 static passwords via your registered email, each valid for one-time use and expiring after 30 days. Generating Passwords: Visit the IT portal and log in. Go to "My Profile" in the top right corner. Select the "Static Password" option on the left. Follow the instructions and click "Generate Static Password."

Success Confirmation: A message will confirm the successful generation of static passwords. Resending Unused Passwords: If any passwords remain unused, you can request them to be resent to your email by clicking "Resend Static Password."

Regenerate Passwords: You can generate a new set of passwords once the previous set is used up or after 30 days, whichever comes first. By following these steps, you can enhance your e-Filing security and manage login issues efficiently.
