It allows you to download your Tradebook or Ledger from their trading portal. A Tradebook or Ledger contains all the transactions made in the stock market from a trading account, covering all segments such as Equity, Futures, Options, and more. Essentially, a trading ledger is the same as a Tradebook. These ledgers are also used to prepare a Profit & Loss statement for a particular financial year, which is crucial when filing income tax on trading income.

Steps to Download the ledger from Motilal Oswal

1. Log in to Motilal portal.
   You can do it from here.
   
   
2. Go to Reports
   Select Ledger
   
   
3. You can view your Financial summary
   You can do this segment wise
4. Click on any ledger detail
   A pop will be displayed disclosing further details.
   
   
5. Click on PDF symbol to download the ledger
   You can view it from there then.
